Do you know what today is? It's my god-baby's b-day. She is 1 years old!!!! Earlier this week I emailed my best friend to let her know that I would be sending something for Aislyn and to wish her a early b-day. Yet of course I couldn't pass the opportunity to call and leave a mini birthday song on their voicemail to her as well. Even though I don't get to see the whole family nearly as much as I would like to, I don't miss the fact that she is just growin up so fast. So I'm trying to think what to get her for her b-day. Clothes are always great, I sent her a Build-A-Bear doll in my last care package down to them in Florida. So if you have any good idea's please pass them on to a sista.
On another topic, I was on Ebay today.....looking at loose gems. Some of them caught my eye and I decided to bid on them. Yet this bidding was different from your normal Ebay bidding mind you. In fact i had to sign up for this thing called LIVE AUCTION. I had no clue on what I was doing. Yet I eventually got the hang of it and won the 3 auctions I was bidding on. They were all different Amythest stones, I was thinking of having some jewelry made, and it would be cool to have picked out the stones myself. It's quite fascinating actually to me to see a LIVE AUCTION take place. You have to be quick about placing your bid and hoping nobody outbid's you. The price keeps jumping or stays flat. Gotta know when to play your hand or fold the cards. later on this evening I will put up pics of the gems I won.

1. Purple is my favorite color,
2. I was born in Feb. so it happens to be my birthstone as well;)
