Well it's the 22nd and my students will be enjoying their summer time in approximately 2.5 days. Thursday is their last day and it is a half day. Last Friday they were given a treat of a field day with grilled hotdogs, punch, and cake.
It was a success I grilled over 200 hotdogs from 1pm to 2:30pm. Kids and staff were happy and loved the ALL BEEF hotdogs that I made. Chicken and Pork products rolled into one do not TOUCH a grill that I'm using;) I am a firm believer that something that used to have feathers and another thing that used to squeal should not be rolled up into one and called a hotdog. It's just an abomination.
This weekend my parents flew to Atlanta,GA to see a cousin of mine graduate from Clark Atlanta University. Congrats Alissa! My main form of entertainment was watching the clouds and tv. I didn't feel like battling the high temps so I was like "phuck it" the birds can keep it.
This evening after I get off of work I'm going up to the community college I took my Spanish two course in this Spring, which by the way I received a final grade of a B. I have a meeting with a counselor to go over an assessment test I took back on Thursday. To see what I might be interested in as a career. It is just so damn frustrating to be dealing with this. Also trying to get myself back into exercising and it's a constant battle to eat right. There have been other things nagging me of late, to the point I'm gonna have to deal with them soon. You know your conscience is trying to tell you something when you constantly think about something and you can't turn it "off".
Well on a brighter note, I still have summer school at my job to deal with for a few weeks in June, but July is all mine! The staff and myself are just counting down the days:) I can not wait!
