Well today was my last day of work for the 2011-2012 school year and boy does it feel GREAT! On my last day I mainly went back over some other things to make sure everything was ok. Registration packets done, Lockers flipped for the new year, final report cards mailed out, notices to those parents who still have fines, Student profile sheets for my middle school updated, OTHER student profile sheets that are NOT for the middle school....well that will be on the todo list when I get back....
Have I had a hell of year? Yes
Did I kick ass and deliver this year? Yes
Am I ready to go for the school year coming up? Yes as far as what I know is expected, No as far as mentally right now. lol I need to recharge.
For lunch, my bosses and myself went to a cool place out in Webster Groves called Stratton's Cafe. This place was really nice and the food was kick ass! This is what I enjoyed from the place:

After we were done, we went back to the job, my Assistant Principal left shortly after and I kept on doing mindless things to make sure I was on track for when I return back to work on July 31st. Eventually 3:15pm hit and I bid my Principal farewell and the first thing I thought when I went outside was holy crap.....it is hot as HELL outside. The temperature at the time of my departure was 107 F.
I went by Target and did a return on some hair stuff that I bought. Ever since I went natural about a month ago, it's been an interesting journey in regards to my hair routine. I have found a few products I like, others I'm skeptical yet curious about, but this was the first product I was like uh-uh, you go back as SOON as possible.

I know what Shea Butter smells and feels like. The smell from this product was just ugh....and the texture on my hair after applying was just a no-go. So...as of right now the only main products that I'm enjoying are Design Essentials and Trader Joe Products. After returning that, I went to Best Buy and browsed around and found a few things of interest. I was going to go the gym and workout and do a Zumba class, but after fighting this heat I was like.... screw it....I will just stay home for the rest of the day.
So I guess in July besides my out of town trip, I'll have time to read some books, play some Max Payne 3 multi-player, and go over my aptitude tests to see if I can figure out more what the hell I wanna do and figure out what classes to take for this fall.
So for me these few days in June and all of July is finally MY TIME!! For me I prefer being an 11th month employee because it gives me time to "Whoo-sa" for 4 weeks until I have to go through this stuff all over again in August. It's not about the money, all the time, it's about having time for myself and just saying "WHEW! I did it, I'm glad I made, but before I jump back into the grind of things,
