Well today was Administrative Assistant Day. I honestly was not aware and was surprised with a Chick-fil-a Breakfast sandwich from my boss which I devoured as soon as I settled in. She also gave myself and the other assistant in the office additional gifts which were very much appreciated.
Throughout the day we were showered with more gifts that ranged from beautful flowers, cards, and even a tasty cupcake.
I must say it did help lighten my day which for me was a tad bit hectic since I scooped 200 cups full of ice cream that will be served tomorrow evening for 5th grade family night. Lets just say by the time I was done my shirt was a mess, my feet were on fire, and my back was in knots. All I can say is thank god for Smartphones that you can play movies on and a Bluetooth headset with great sound. More than likely I will have some type of nightmare that will involve ice cream and I don't want to SEE anymore ice cream in the near future.

I'm just glad I got it done because I rather had dealt with it now than tomorrow when I barely would have had the time since I will be DJ-ing the 8th grade mini party at 10am. I made up their playlist and VERIFIED that the songs were safe to enjoy.
Friday will be a half day but teachers will need to have their grades in by 8am oh and did I also mention that we are having our BMS Garage Sale this Saturday? To say this will be a busy week is severely an understatement.
