I first had the pleasure of meeting Terry at my job. She is a mentor to one of my students and she informed me that she makes soaps. From time to time she has brought me bars as gifts and I've also been a repeat customer. Her soaps are some of my favorites that I like to keep stocked at home. Since she has found out that I do Whipped Body Butters she keeps me in the loop of any vendor markets that come up.
Per her recommendation I decided to participate in the WinterMarkt hosted by the Skinker-Debaliver Community Center this past December and I had a blast!! I met other vendors and of course Terry was also there. The atmosphere was awesome with the music, customers and small talk with other vendors. I've even received repeat business from customers who originally bought my product from the WinterMarkt.

Terry also teaches a class on soap making once a month out at Webster Community Center in Webster Groves, MO. She has been making soap for over 10 ten years and came up with the name of her business because as she stated, "I use the old traditional ways that soap was made", hence the name for her business, Old Ways Soap.
I have to give Terry a huge thank you for meeting up with me on Valentine's Day in the morning because the snow in Saint Louis is no joke. We met up at Options Salon in Brentwood, MO where she has her product showcased. Not only does she make soaps, she also makes bath salts, scrubs, lotions, lip balms and even wool felt dryer balls. We had great conversation over some Keurig 2.0 Chai Tea and coffee and within a hour's time, we were done.
After closing up shop and saying our goodbyes. We braved the elements once again to get to our next destinations safely. She went back home and I went to go see Deadpool, which is flipping awesome!
Overall I had a great time with Terry and if you want some amazing soaps, please don't hesitate to hit her up. Her product might be done in the old style, but I assure you it feels and smells just heavenly.
