Back on the 10th, I decided to do something that I had not done since high school. Get some color in my hair. Now for some people they might think what is the big deal. So what? Well for me it's pretty big since I'm usually somewhat conservative when it comes to my hair at least where color is concerned. Where my hair in a big afro? No big deal. Add color.....now you might be asking for too much. So I thought it would be great to do something different to usher in the new year. Hopefully to shake up some older habits of mine. Anything to get my mind off Dumb Trump being our new Commander in Chief. I still can't wrap my mind around that one...
So when my beautician, Daisha of Christopher Stevens The Salon, asked me what I wanted to do, I told her I was ready for some color. I definitely wanted something red or burgundy. So at first my hair was a tad bit lighter than I was expecting.....It might be a color I might do in the future.....like FAAAARRRRR future. Just not right now. So I requested it to be tapped down in color just a tad.

After a minor adjustment I was able to check out the color and I loved it!!!!
I absolutely love the color and I can't wait to fro out my hair to see what it will look like!!!
Here is to hopefully the first change of many to come.
